End-Point / Single Point Connection

In this connection system, the screens are connected to earth at one end, and the other end is isolated from earth by SVLs voltage limiters.

In these cases you need to install a bonding earthing cable to earth continuinty for fault currents that normally would return through the screens.

The induced voltage is proportional to the length of cable and hence the voltage limitation of this imposes a limitation on the maximum cable length which can be connected in this way.
